hp-dv9000-5

HP rep. called yesterday, as usual not very respectful and not answering anything. so spent another hour on be phone. with him torturing me to pay them. Well they take so much time without any solutions, that by this time they should pay me. for my time and my phone bill. I asked him to talk to someone like manager or someone above him. he refused to forward the call. and didn't give us any information. He just took his time to say that everything is the way it was. he never said what happened to the case. why all the stickers are missing. or why screws were damaged. well that was another 2hours wasted on the phone. and no answer.

hp-dv9000-4

Finally on Friday night he manager called again. Apparently he found out hat something did happen to my laptop, while it was there. They didn't notify me, however they should have. the form stated two different numbers an they could have called any time. However they did replace the case, however i do find that its not o equal value as the case has dents. and scratches on it. Also what happened with the CD/DVD drive? still the hp doesn't want to do anything about it. right now the computer is not in the condition it was in, when i sent it to them. Well now i will have to wait for Monday. I have had enough the first few days, and have taken further actions like reporting HP to BBB.

hp-dv9000-3

so finally, a guy claiming to be the manager called. Refusing to listen to anything i had to say. He begun saying how everything was my fault. Even if they had it more then i did. And were the last ones to have it, before i got it back in this condition. he wasn't very respectful. and by the middle begun to yell at me. then he proclaim loudly that i was the one yelling at him. I ask him not to yell calmly. and that didn't work. so i asked him if he would prefer to talk with local police instead. as he was being bias and disrespectful almost like other tech support people. The only thin he would say over and over was. its your fault. you set it to us in this condition. when ever i replied that it wasn't he would interrupt and wouldn't allow me to talk. I honestly sent them the computer with working dvd/cd drive and as it was because of battery recall i honestly don't see why they needed full laptop, or why they have taken it apart and damaged the dvd/cd drive in the first place. when i got it back and discovered that dvd/cd wouldn't work i called hp. an they sent me another box and said it would be covered by warranty. So i sent it to them. When i got it back it seems like the dvd/cd drive was torn out. He refused to listen to any of this and continued on his own. you know we have lawyers here Right? he asked me. what does that have to do with anything that was said? i asked. well if you want proof we have pictures to prove it. I said fine email them to me. He hung up and i waited for a few minutes he did not email me anything related to my laptop.
I had someone else call a few minutes later. and he begun telling them how i was yelling at him and stuff like that. and even how i was threatening him. well after that conversation he emailed me the pictures. not exactly what i sent them. they had the laptop for a few days before they did any documentation so that gave them enough time to destroy it. i had the before pictures which show that laptop i sent had stickers on it. like the one informing users its a vista laptop. they also badly damaged to sticker on the bottom with Microsoft information. which is also not documented in hp pictures as that sticker there is still fully in place. OK i guess that shows something was done to my laptop. they had all of the numbers which means they could have contacted me and asked me before removing the stickers. the manager should have called again today. but so far he didn't. at least so or he seems to be ignoring the situation.

hp-dv9000-2

Just as soon as i got my notebook /laptop from what should have been a repair. I opened the box and took it out of the box and look at it over the first thing i found were the missing an damaged stickers with the info. from the laptop. then the dvd/cd drive that was partly broken out an damaged. an the damaged screws on the case. I called Hp immidiatly. however the the first person to pickup was some guy who didn't know much English. he accused me of beingva female an hung up. the second time some guy put me on a 3 hour hold and then hung up. on that day i spent an average of 12 hours attempting to call hp and getting transfers over to tech support people who were bias of females or just didn't feel like talking finally i got trough in the middle of the night. When the guy asked me my s/n said ----w-- he kept putting in five for W how hard is it to tell the difference between a five and a w? so i requested to speak with manager. and was told i couldn't. so the guy just hung up. i called again and was finally told that i could and he would call me at about nine in the morning, the problem with my hp was not solved. about 13hours of my life wasted

hp dv9000

i got my hp pavilion 9000, back in 2008. The first few month i didn't have any problem with it. However the hard drive died 3 month later. I called hp and under the warranty they said they would replace the hard drive. I sent my laptop/notebook to hp and got it back a week later the work order said that it wasn't changed just recovered. a few weeks later the hard drive died again. this happened for almost a two years. In 2009 i found out my battery was on recall. I called hp with overheating problems before. Now i knew why it was overheating, how ever hp refused to exchange it. Later in 2010 they told me to send them the laptop/notebook and they would fix all the problems. I sent it to them. how ever that didn't happened. I got it back with more problems then it had before. DVD/CD drive didn't work, and It was freezing up. so i contacted hp and they had me send it back to them. when i got it back 3weeks later and its missing parts.
